Who is a citizen?
A citizen is a person who is entitled to enjoy all the legal rights and privileges granted by a state to the people comprising its constituency and is obligated to obey its laws and to fulfil his or her duties as called upon
What is a Right?
A right is a choice to make your own opinion and entitlement to things such as education, religion and freedom of speech.
What is our Rights
1. The right to freedom of expression
2. The right to peaceful assembly and association
3. The right to equality before the law
4. The right of every child to be protected by virtue of being a minor, part of a family, society, and the State.
5. The right of an education
6. The right to vote
What are responsibilities?
The state or fact of being responsible, answerable, or accountable for something within one's power, control, or management.

ReplyDelete1. A citizen is someone who is entitled to all the legal rights and advantages that a state has awarded to the individuals who make up its constituency and who is required to follow its laws and perform their obligations as needed.
2. A right is a decision to choose your own opinion and an entitlement to things like freedom of expression, religion, and education. While responsibilities are the state or fact of being responsible for or liable for something that is under one's supervision.

Right to a fair trial: As a citizen, you have the right to a fair trial and to be believed innocent unless proven guilty.
As a citizen it is my responsibility to: 1. Be informed about the issues that affect your community and your count and to stay up-to-date on current events. 2. to obey the laws of the land and to respect the rights and freedoms of others and 3. to pay taxes to support government services and programs that benefit society as a whole.
